The season setup in Ashes of Creation was another highly dynamic system. With the use of Wwise RTPCs and Switches, the entire environment was driven by game data to create a constant evolving world.
The season system was broken into the 4 seasons with 8 switches under each for a total of 32 unique setups that would blend to the next to create seamless blending.
Trees in Ashes of Creation utilized this system heavily. Using the 32 switches allowed for the implementation of granular fauna setups that could mimic migratory patterns of birds, etc.
